Dear valued Supplier,
Weener Plastics takes the health and safety of its employees, customers and suppliers extremely seriously. Since the spread of the coronavirus disease, we have monitored developments and implemented corrective actions in-line with advice from the WHO and local governments, combined with further initiatives that we as a company feel are appropriate.
The objective of this letter is to inform you of the importance to protect our supply chain. Our factories produce packaging for the Food, Personal Care and Pharmaceutical industries. We need to continue to provide our customers with a reliable supply of good quality products. We trust that our suppliers have taken the necessary measures to mitigate any supply risk and enable continuity of the supplies.
We urgently request you to:
- Respect the measures and protocols of Weener Plastics.
- Proactively inform your key contact person if you see any potential disruption or delay that may affect WP.
- Stay agile and responsive to the evolving situation.
We have also introduced preventative measures and protocols for our staff and visitors in all our facilities.
We have taken specific measures for office and production related positions. Next to the strict hygiene and social protocols, we segregate our staff wherever possible to avoid the potential transmission of the coronavirus. If the position allows it, people are working from home and use digital communication tools.
Visits to our sites are actively discouraged and postponed. All visitors must declare any exposure to affected people and that they feel well with a normal body temperature before being allowed access to our facilities.
We are continuously reviewing the corona crisis and anticipate immediately on evolving insights and situations. If you have any question, please reach out to your regular contact person.
